That dood right there has multiple accounts, ie couples and singles. I’ve blocked a few already. It’s so he can read under one account what you type and reply with the blocked one to you, even though you won’t be able to read it; that is, if you block one of his other accounts.

He keeps posting after I post. lol Funny funny stuff right there, even though I don’t have multiple accounts and cannot read it.

How funny, we also are members of the 888 block party.

We have info from an SLS admin that they can and will block a profile for you if you cannot view theirs because they are hidden from your “gender”. Email us for instructions.

ongoing issue.. to me its a safety issue also... people looking at profiles and no way to tell who it is... stalkers, ex's, etc etc...

Still no fix, glad I’m not the only one. The only person I have blocked is that 888 profile that has been posting semi pointless responses.

BnB, It's not hard to understand at all; you put almost 50 naked pictures in your PUBLIC gallery and complain that people are looking or perving them and you can't perv back.

Maybe the webmaster would be so kind as to unlock the other 445 pictures locked in your other galleries. lol

Once again, I don’t want someone who has my profile type blocked, whatever their reason, should not be able to view my profile....PERIOD. Be it by accident or not knowing how to set up their own profile. If someone sets up their profile so couples can not view it, they should not be able to view couples. Why is this so difficult to understand. These are not prospective playmates, they are perving pictures. Most who do it are not even from my area. Please address this or at least poll members and see how they feel about it. BnB

1) click on their profile and copy their ID in the address html..." and follow Allen's instructions, you'll be able to block a profile that you can't access.

If someone could answer my question I would really be appreciate it. I am a single female I have a couple that’s constantly looking at me on a weekly basis or every time I change my photo when I go to look at them I get this- Sorry this member has chosen to have their profile hidden from single females?? However they may view me but i can't look at them. I quite don’t understand this and I am not able to block them it’s getting to the point where it’s getting creepy my guess is that it must be the male half - The question would be can I block this couple that’s continuously looking at me without blocking other couples??

There is no need to individually block those blocking you, both sides then cannot see each other on this instance. That is my point, you would be blocking “hidden” people that may not be intentionally blocking others or who are not ready to come forth.

Most people are referring to themselves being blocked are actually being hidden from. Selecting “no” and “block” in preferences are the same thing. Those people who select “no” instead of “block” most likely don’t know they are one in the same. So block those hidden because they may not know and pass by potential playmates who may not be ready because make you unfairly angry about it.

If I am reading you right 888. Your tip is just to block hidden people. Not those who have already blocked you.

Thanks for the tip, 888. From now on, we're using that to block everyone who doesn't see fit to let us view their profile.

I am not a webmaster so maybe I am being naive thinking that this is a simple fix. I have a couples profile that is open to all profile types. I do not want to block someone AFTER they view my profile, I want to block them BEFORE they view it. It seem to me that the programming needed already exists. When someone tries to view a profile, a check is done to see if a profile type is blocked. If it is it will not allow access to that profile. Why can't the profile of the person attempting to view another be checked as well? If they don't allow a certain profile type to be viewed then they may not view that type of profile. I have been a lifetime member for over four years and have always wondered why this can't be corrected.

CF, if you and everyone else really wanted to block them:

1) click on their profile and copy their ID in the address html, then

2) click on ANY profile to block, but don't submit block just yet,

3) substitute the ID at the top html address with the one you want to block and

4) hit the "return" key(ENTER).

Now everybody knows the work around to blocking someone who is "HIDDEN" from you, NOT BLOCKING YOU. Why block someone who is hidden momentarily is beyond me. We've had this and when they contacted, it was a good time out, but they may not be ready to contact you, but go ahead and block a potential click.

We battled with SLS admin on this in the past. The acted like we nuts for asking this. We agree it is BS, the fact that they can view you and you can’t them, thing is you lose the option to block them, no way you can as you can’t access their profile to do it. Does it really matter, probably not, but still don’t like we lose the option

Welcome to the forums.

It’s a tit for tat solution. By choosing this option, you can achieve blocking those blocking you and still visit the profiles of those not blocking you.

Of course, after years of hearing this exact whine hundreds of times throughout many many posts, snark it is not. Well, maybe.
