Many complaints on the other thread are about not having back-ups for various reasons of those old pix. That does not apply to us, but I understand it.
Many, actually most, of the complaints about posting old pix are also valid, but the majority of that was fixed when they started listing the upload dates. That helps when you see the photo was uploaded 15 years ago and know it is not "now", but I can upload a 20 YO pic today if I chose, so it did not fix it all. Nothing can fix that.
My personal bitch of the matter (beyond the way it was very poorly handled and notified in advance) is that we had very specific private galleries to share with very specific people of common interest. A farm folder with our horses, bailing hay, trail riding, etc. An outdoors folder with fishing, hunting, shooting, etc. A "tits around the world" folder with her showing her boobs at the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, Ciudad Viejo in Cartegena, Morocco, Germany, Costa Rica, Austria, etc. Those folders, shared with folks who seem to have those common interests, tell a story about us that span beyond the past five years.
Sadly, we have not visited 5 continents and 20+ countries for her to flash her tits in the past five years (especially since COVID shut down international travel for nearly two of those years). After this poorly handled purge, we had one or two photos left there from Mexico in 2023 which does not seem worthy of a folder named "Tits Around the World", so I simply deleted the folder. That "story" about us can no longer be told.
SLS has proven time and time again that they do not give a shit about what members would like or how swinging actually works. They have already gotten all the shekels that can from the lifetime members, so those folks (like us) are irrelevant. We will see what the new site is when it is actually converted and decide how to proceed here.
