android 14 and sls notifications

<p>The mobile app does have notifications. The SLS icon should have a badge (a number in a red circle) in the top right corner when you have something new, such as a new message or new friend request. This is working on my iPhone. It is not updating on my Android. I asked the app developer about that.</p>

<p>For the web browser, the unread message indicator should update everytime you login. You do not have to go to the Messages page for it to update, unless you are already logged in and want to check again. This should work with the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari. Those are the only browsers we support. It may work with other browsers, but I cannot guarentee it.</p>

jaynegril, the app and site have no notifications. You have to manually check. The mobile app won't send push notifications. If you open the app you might see the number of messages in a red circle on initial log in or when you navigate between pages, but you'll have to manually refresh after that to see any new ones (the site is the same way). It's NOT your device and this is by design for the site & app.

I can't speak to your slider issue, but some time ago I did install the app. Never got any notification, ever.

Well I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I could not find a app section.
I recently upgraded to a samsung s24 ultra running android 14.
Now I can not get any notifications especially message ones. If I go to app info it says all notifications for this app are blocked.
All my other apps have a slider under app info to allow or disallow notifications but this one says they are blocked and i cant change the slider.

Is anyone else having this issue? I do not know if it is a android 14 issue, s24ultra issue, or just me.
