the stupid banner ad locks up my page every once in a while also.....

The forum Gestapo routinely deletes posts within threads they feel are devisive and/or put offenders in a 'time out' until you send them a "pretty please, I'm sorry" message. Locking the forums is just another way of taking the ball and going home. Business as usual and for you lifetime members, it's sad to see you treated this way.

But as was pointed out, the thread of 'Site Suggestions' is a treasure trove of fantastic ideas from the members but like the Covid recovery rate, 99.697% of them are never even considered or adopted. Then they roll out something, usually untested, and claim "everybody was asking for it".

Then, when people complain, they are scolded and mocked and derided by the 'forum monitor' as being a small minority.

SLS has a great membership base but it's a freaking shame that the people who run this site don't give one shit about the membership and there really is no where else to go with the same volume of swingers.

Well said J&K. In fact, there was a thread about this topic, which Wayne deleted several postings from, then locked it. This one will meet a similar fate. I notice forum regulars have given up on making suggestions since none were implemented. Newer folks are now going through the cycle and discovering the same thing

You guys are both lifetime members. There's nothing more for SLS to sell to you. Once you understand that this makes you the product--not the customer--everything else suddenly makes sense.

Your eyeballs are being rented to advertisers (who pay SLS). Your profile is being used to entice new people to pay SLS for memberships. Event promoters pay SLS for the ability to contact you.

Ever wonder why Wayne and Co always have such a dismissive attitude to complaints? It would be terrible customer service... if you were the customer. SLS care about us in the same way a rancher cares about his cattle. If you don't like it, there are other swinger websites where the actual customers are the swingers.

It is also very annoying it is a video - burns bandwidth and uses battery power on our devices.
If you insist on having the ad there, at least change it to an image.
