Not counting?

Parkland, FL, Us

We try to push the free month (for new members) at events and have had many folks scan our QR code . They show me the sign-up page on their device so I know they reached the site but never see a unique visitor counted. Not sure how many actually signed up but most comment that the sign-up page doesn't look very inviting.

An affiliate promo code instead of the long URL might be better.

<p>I'm not sure if that <span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:tahoma,verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:14px">"Unique New Visitors" column is working correctly. Either that or I do not know what it is counting. I analyzed that page a few months ago and could not figure it out. I have a request in for our developers to check the actual code and let me know what it is supposed to be counting.</span></p>

<p><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family:tahoma,verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size:14px">I'm not sure what it considers to be a "visitor". Someone that just hits the login page or someone that actually starts signing up to be a member? The signup process is also 3 pages. As that process progresses, we lose people. </span></p>

For me all of the "Unique New Visitors" show as zero's for every single day.

I have a fair amount of new signups but nothing reports for unique new visitors.

Any chance we will get some summary data like total number of new signups in a month?

So what do you get if people do get counted, a t-shirt?

<p>As far as I know, it should be working. They will not count as new signups if they have been to the site before or if using a device that has been used to access the site before.</p>

Is the affiliate program not counting any more? I have asked friends to click on my links to it from my websites, and yet the views are not being registered. If it's not working, I'm not sending free traffic any more. ~L
