those started as a joke email on one of the swinger sites, it practically went viral and panicky people posted it and encouraged others.

A usless privacy warning on a profile we are “on the fence” about will usually tip it to us passing them by.

No, they mean nothing. The ones that cite law are particularly meaningless. Also, none of them are actually enforceable even were you willing to take someone to court.

After seeing privacy statements and warning notices on many profiles, I finally decided to play, the "better safe than sorry" game, but I'm really not convinced of the value of these statements.

So, yes, I have them, but do they really mean anything?
