Plus we’ve found that some of the rules are arbitrary depending who’s doing the review. We’ve had our profile locked and taken offline over changes where other profiles said exactly the same thing. I also think this whole approval and staff discretion is a factor in people not updating as often as one might.
When we first joined.. it was instant and you didnt need an approval. Thats the way it should be and deal with those who do not abide by rules stated if one has a problem..
Thanks Wayne!

The SLS staff have many tasks to process, so depending on the work-load and staffing, it may some time for the various tasks to get done. Your edits have been approved now.

So I've made my profile, and I'm tailoring it to be what I need it to be. After a good handful of changes made, I gotta wait like two days lol. I wish the changes were instantly shown. Is there a more efficient way for the updates to take effect? Maybe its because I grew up with social media that I like instant gratification but edited changes shouldn't be a two-day approval process. Any site staff that see this post care to explain the approval process from their perspective?
Not sarcasm, but I'm sure there is something I'm missing or not understanding about it and genuinely wanna know.
And yes I went to the "Help" section in the left panel of the web page but all I found was the following which is already understood:
"I updated my profile, but when I view it I don't see the changes."
"Profile updates are processed and approved by SLS staff members. This may take up to 48 hours. You will not see your changes until they are approved."
