"CNBC has signed former Fox News journalist Shepard Smith to anchor a new one-hour evening news program, the network said Wednesday.

“The News with Shepard Smith” will debut this fall in the 7-8 p.m. time slot on the cable news business channel. The Monday through Friday newscast marks a significant shift in the evening programming strategy for CNBC, which currently relies on light, unscripted fare."

212..... “But let's keep things in perspective. At what point was Clinton ahead in Texas?”

Why are people still obsessing over 2016? Shouldn’t our failures in 2016 be driving us to better choices in 2020? Or are we just gonna hand the next election to the Gameshow host-in-chief? We need to keep Joe is hiding for as long as possible and find a VP that the entire party can get behind.

"It's like they have a cheat code."

Well, they do. In 2000, it was the SCOTUS & Florida, in 2004, it was Ohio & Florida, and 2016 it was the media.

But let's keep things in perspective. At what point was Clinton ahead in Texas?

fred1697 we say how Tulsa played out...lol....

That "delusion" is confidence. Some may say overconfident, arrogance, etc... But it makes sense in that their team seems to win despite overall deficient numbers. It's like they have a cheat code.

I'd have that swagger as well with that track record.

Fred is the local Trump dick sucker.

Nothing to see here.

"I don’t know what I’m gonna enjoy more. Watching trump win another term"

I am amazed you guys are able to still maintain that delusion at this point. What's the secret? Sensory deprivation tank?

Yea joe out raised him. So did Hillary. How did that turn out for you?

Why should trump rally outside friendly territory? The election is decided by the electoral collage not the popular vote?

I don’t know what I’m gonna enjoy more. Watching trump win another term or watching the window lickers cry all through his next term.

But Trump is minted though.

Remember he's that billionaire that said he doesn't need nobody's money

We're still waiting Sar for you to answer. Did you take a knee???

Hate to bring it up on different threads but your reluctance to respond seems to answer the question.

fred1697 all of them...there will be no more rallies..after the last dud...lol...

Irondequoit, NY, Us

It won’t hurt him against Joe. In Alabama.

But Trumps afraid to rally outside of friendly territory.

Just the rally in Alabama. Come on he’s facing joe. I think the cancelation of the Alabama rally not gonna hurt him to much against joe.

@Fun, “the Obama / Biden suburbs redo plan will change things if it happens”

Are you referring to the AFFH?

I think half of what Fun posts is bullshit.

The other half is horseshit.

He know everyone and has done everything.

Not plausible.

Emeryville, CA, Us

@fun, Not sure of what you mean by 'change', but I don't see any change in the near future. There will be at least 5 more years of this Administration, and I'd guess more of the same afterward.

Richards, TX

@luverman , the Obama / Biden suburbs redo plan will change things if it happens . But to make this work to me looking ....and I know nothing about real estate. Buy apartments and multi family units . The single family homes in the suburbs of the big cities could be in for a big change. The socio economic change will make it a lot like Europe. Just me talkin....

Emeryville, CA, Us

@Flip, Both Commercial and Residential.

@fun, I'm not sure of any decent rebound. I just don't like the current market environment. Don't get me wrong, I haven't or wont liquidate everything, but now I'm in a better defensive posture, so market fluctuations and downturns won't affect me significantly.

New York (CNN)Ghislaine Maxwell, the onetime girlfriend and alleged accomplice of accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, was arrested Thursday morning and charged by New York federal prosecutors with six counts in connection with an ongoing federal investigation into Epstein's accomplices, according to court documents and a person familiar with the matter.

Maxwell is charged with enticement and conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, transportation and conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and two counts of perjury, according to a federal indictment unsealed Thursday.

"In particular, from at least in or about 1994, up to an including at least in or about 1997, Maxwell assisted, facilitated, and contributed to Jeffrey Epstein's abuse of minor girls by, among other things, helping Epstein to recruit, groom, and ultimately abuse victims known to Maxwell and Epstein to be under the age of 18," the indictment says.

Those victims, according to the indictment, included girls as young as 14 years old. Maxwell and multimillionaire Epstein are accused of luring them to an array of residences, including his Upper East Side mansion, his Palm Beach estate, and his sprawling Santa Fe ranch, along with her residence in London.

@Flip , would you like to invest in some Dutch real estate . A real nice club .

Summerville, SC, Us

@your, are you into residential or commercial real estate ?

Richards, TX

Luvrman , be confident we have had bad times before and we will have bad times again. The big cities are going to have hard times and I can see the suburbs suffering also. But we will recover again. I was reading over BO ‘s plan for suburbs when he was president . I think Biden will follow , I don’t like it but I could see some might . We live on a small ranch in the country so I don’t think it would affect us.
