I absolutely can imagine it. The only thing missing is the connivance of others. Get that and a whole lot of folks would be equally self serving, unwilling to accept consequences, and sufficiently possessed of the feeling of entitlement to pardon themselves.

We have laws and a justice system because people are generally shit at self policing and exacting any sort of self punishment.

Hate to interrupt your little circle-jerk, but Biden would not pardon him. He would let the court and systems run their courses. Whatever Hunter would be convicted of, will result in fines, probation and/or minimal jail time.

Jerod Kushner , he started an investment firm . The firm was set up to invest in the Middle East . It would concentrate mostly between Saudi Arabia , UAE , Israel and Qatar . Now nothing wrong most of his investments have come from the MER . Now , to me Qatar controls the MER . And Qatar could use this to put more money into the Israeli war . One of his big investors is an Israeli weapons manufacturer . As long as Trump is not president there seems no problem. Anyone can start an investment firm , just like anyone can join a board of directors . I guarantee you would accept Kushner on your BOD , rather than an addict .

A little difference between Hunter Biden and Kushner . Hunter was on the board of directors of a foreign company . Nothing wrong . Anyone can be on a board with experience or not . But you want a person on your board that can help make good decisions . At that point Hunter admits he was using drugs and wasting his life . Now what did Burisma get . I personally worked with Ukrainian and Russian O/G companies . In this case there was a Ukrainian group installed by Barrack Obama investigating Burisma . If Burisma was found to be fraud and and guilty the company would be broke and people would go to jail . The people from Burisma needed a way to make the crimes go away. Remember when Joe Biden said get rid of him or no more money from the US …SOB within 20 minutes he was gone. This closed all cases on Burisma. Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe . He was going to plead guilty buuuuut . Listen closely his attorney was trying to roll his gun charges and his tax problems together . You can’t do this . Now there have been whistleblowers coming forward on his filed taxes might not be correct. ..This could be a crime ,still a misdemeanor . If this all makes sense , just plead guilty like every other American does and pay the late penalty .

Yes, Hunter got caught not paying his taxes. Did you know that he did eventually pay all of the taxes owed, plus penalties and interest? This was in 2020. For ANYONE else, this is usually enough punishment. But somehow, Hunter is going to trial...
