Hypocrisy

The reason this is a big to do about something is because a lawmaker went against the restrictions in her own district. She knew the rules, she broke them. That’s why this is a big deal. If salons opened the next day, then she should’ve waited till the next day like everybody else. Everybody is hype to call out people they oppose politically and give excuses for the ones they support. How about this, forget politics and call out a scumbag for being a fucking scumbag.

As a person who lives in CA and follows the hair salon issue . . .

Here is the reality.

It is a local issue and a state issue.

The state sets baselines that must be adhered to. The county goes through and applies for the county or cities within the county to be allowed to re-open. It was announced last week, Thurs or Friday iirc, that the county applied to the state to reopen. I texted the guy that cuts my hair. He said, "Yeah. It could Sat/Sun/Monday when we get the blessing to re-open." I saw him on Tuesday.

I do not know what it is in LA. I do not know what it is in Orange County. I sure as hell don't know what it is in San Fran. I do know that it is different.

We had some people who were allowed to open their salons. One condition. The chairs had to be outside. We have had massage parlors and nail salons move outside to get patrons. We had some salons that were allowed to open as long as they only had one customer. This was pressed by a woman who has one chair in her business. I know the county health department allowed her with a condition that no other customer could wait inside and she had to clean up in between.

So to me, this is a big to do about nothing.

From what I have read, San Fran did reopen the next day.

But something to think about Kevin Brady told us today Nancy might lose her job in November . The squad are taking over the DNC and AOC is now bringing in as much money as Nancy. I pray for California .

(CNN)Jerry Falwell, Jr., the former president of Liberty University, will receive a $10.5 million compensation package from the evangelical school, he told CNN.

Fallwell, who resigned late Monday after a series of scandals, said he will receive about $2.5 million during the next two years and another $8 million thereafter. As the university's president and chancellor, Falwell was paid about $1.25 million per year.

Falwell told The Washington Post his Liberty contract entitles him to the severance package because he is departing the school without being formally accused of or admitting to wrongdoing.

The embattled evangelical leader resigned from the evangelical Christian university in Lynchburg, Virginia, a day after reports surfaced that he and his wife took part in a longtime sexual relationship with a former hotel pool attendant. The school said Tuesday it had accepted Falwell's resignation, effective immediately.
