well, in my voting history I have voted, Liberal, republican and democrat, but, to answer your direct question, i more or less been of a Democratic persuasion since George W. But, i do not agree with lots of the Democratic agenda, especially generational welfare, and other such policies. well, i think legal immigrations are ok, I am a 1st gen Immigrant myself, but, they shouldn't be unconditionally supported for free.

As for our Vets .... shame on our country that has failed to support and help them, in the past and continuing now; its a disgrace!

I'm into the environment, especially the oceans, I'm a die hard dive junkie, so i have doubts about what destruction is necessary or not.

@mia , how long have been a Democrat ? We were Democrats from when we started voting . When HRC ran for president I realized she was not talking to me . We were fortunate to get to go to a Trump fund raiser . We didn’t have to pay, I would never pay that kind of money for any politician. But he seemed to listen to us and I felt he spoke to my concerns .
This admin. has affected us directly and continues to. We are headed to Europe in August and must have a negative covid test before we can get on the return flight to the US . But every day thousands of illegal aliens cross our border ( we must take them ) no covid test . If they can afford to pay coyotes 7000 to 10,000 to get to the border they can afford the covid test.

I don't believe in any of the news really, be it right or left, its all selective facts and information skewed to some ideological perspective.

I worked in IT, specifically in data analysis, forecasting, projections, etc. .... i know how easy it is to manipulate date to derive an expected outcome.

All of that is a detriment to us, as we get spoon fed info, that has us make opinions based on that, form our positions ....

Yet, the biggest problem we face, is the dis-information, left and right, that spreads like HIV .... Dogma, unquestioned belief that is parroted without question, without thought, without contemplation ..... Religions are based on this bullshit, seems like its the same in politics now.

It's all very sad to me, as I thought we were evolving out of that mode of thinking ... but alas, IMO, we are absolutely devolving.
