The news site “Politico” has an essay today reporting that Kamala Harris’ VP office rife with dissent.
Her own campaign for the presidential nomination broke apart or had troubles because of dissent and conflict.
This is somewhat concerning. Fortunately, the VP has rarely been significant in our politics, except Dick Cheney under GW Bush (and Cheney’s influence was malign).
It’s ugly to see criticism directed at her out of racism as we see here too much.
I feel Elizabeth Warren would have been a better choice for VP, but Harris probably helped the Biden ticket more in the election
I don’t see the majority of GOP voters being enthusiastic for any other candidate in 2024 besides Trump, and exposure of the corruption and crime of the Trump Organization will not make a difference. Trump could gain the nomination even after his company is found to have broken the law and his own acts of high crimes and misdemeanors as president.
