Why a 10 year pardon for charges that haven't been pressed unless there were potential charges coming from the incoming administration? Why wait until after the election to pardon him?

It is an opinion article, and of course in the interests of transparency, I wanted to be clear this is stated. This is very much unlike the media on the right, which just lies to you and passes themselves off as news when they're in fact blatant opinion. But anyway, the author's opinion is based on these facts, which are irrefutable and easily proven:

• Hunter did neglect to pay his taxes, but he ALSO paid them in full late, plus penalties and fees. Still got prosecuted, which if you go look into it, almost never happens.

• He did lie on his federal application for a firearm about his drug use. He also did only have a gun for 11 days before getting rid of it, and had no prior criminal record. If you go look it up, you will 100% for sure find out that this is almost never prosecuted. If it were, considering all the marijuana smokers and opioid users out there, there would be tons of people who should be prosecuted for this.

• Weiss was appointed during the Trump administration and did try to prosecute Hunter for 6 years for more serious crimes, like bribery, etc, but FOUND NOTHING.

• Hunter did have an agreed plea deal with Weiss that was killed by the GOP House. That same GOP House's star witness in all of their untold number of hearings on the Biden family crime in Ukraine was a certain Alexander Smirnov, who has now been charged by Weiss with lying under oath about all of that.

Exactly sn, this was politically motivated from the jump which is why I don’t blame Joe for pardoning Hunter.

And it proves once again that every gop accusation is a confession. They are the ones weaponizing the justice system while claiming that the charges against Drumpf, including the ones he was convicted of, were unfairly targeted.
