Unsweetened expresso-strong black coffee (2-3 cups)
Post Grape Nuts cereal with 1% milk
Craisins (dried cranberries)
2 soft boiled eggs
1 slice toasted wheat bread
1 quart bottled water
-- I-mile brisk walk around the area.
Stack of whole grain waffles buried in blueberries, blackberries, sliced banana and grapes, chia seeds, crushed mixed nuts, raisins, drizzled in maple syrup. Washed down with a green smoothie and some H2O.
Bowl of whole grain cereal w/fresh blueberries and sliced banana. Two slices Ezekiel Flax bread: one slice with almond butter, the other with roasted red pepper hummus. Bowl of steel cut oats w/crushed walnuts, almonds, and chia seeds.

The kids took me out for an early Fathers Day breakfast at The Red Dog Diner. I’d been eating vegetarian/vegan of late and broke the trend with their corned beef hash and eggs and a very tasty Bloody Mary. I highly recommend this place whether you’re a local or visiting ;-)
