Pura Still (Spiked Still Water) that we saw at our local supermarket and thought it would be fun to try. It's fucking hideous. We've found it mixes best with the water in the sink as it gets poured down the drain because no one in their right mind should drink that shit.

GodDAMN it's awful! We're storing the remainder in the garage to feed to guests we want to leave, or for consupmption during the zombie apocalypse (that's about the only scenario we'd consider drinking it again...there was no other alcohol left on the planet)

Well that's a bit of an extreme effort for a bottle of booze. But rest assured whenever I do travel abroad I try to bring back something I can't get at home.

Next suggestion is a vacation to England. You can throw a bottle or two in your checked baggage no problem. Plus, England makes for a great vacation.. they have some really good swing clubs.

Thanks for the suggestions JimandLynn. I just looked though, and they do not carry any brands of coconut arrack.

@VA, have you tried liquorama dot com? I have found they have most anything and will ship it to you if your state law allows it. That's where we found crème de noyaux to make pink squirrels.

Rum and diet Dr. Pepper.

So I asked about this a while ago.. nobody seemed to know, but I'll try again anyway.

There is a rather unusual liquor called "arrack". The word can be used for many things, but the one I am specifically interested in is White Lion VSOA, which is an arrack from Sri Lanka made from fermented coconut flowers. There is another brand called Ceylon arrack. Reviews on this stuff are interesting to read and I would really like to get my hands on a bottle. Unfortunately it seems that nobody has imported this to the US for a number of years and I am probably shit out of luck. I have found a company in the UK that will ship to the US, but only certain states, and Florida isn't one of them.

Has anyone ever located or tried this stuff? There are other unrelated liquors known as "arrack" or "arak" that are not made from coconut flowers - it's not those I'm asking about.
