Putting this here because it's more than a happy thought but simple pleasure is underplaying it.
SP - Being a capable woman able to remove the rusted/broken bolts from a toilet, lift it and remove it by myself, replace the wax ring, install new bolts, Set the toilet back into place (level and, again, by myself), bolt it in place, reattach the water supply and once again having a toilet that doesn't rock or swivel.

I was in the car with our daughter and her friend and "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult was on. Her friend said "Oh! It's Flo Rida!".
Um.....no.
I always have a smile on my face when my teenagers get crazy excited about a " new " song that turns out to be a remix of a song that I once loved at their age .
SP- watching the joy on the kiddo's faces when we picked them up from school and they saw their daddy was home.
SP- taking off a too tight sports bra. Love the back muscles, need to do some major replacing of bra's.
SP - stopped at a traffic light this afternoon, I noticed a young man dressed head to toe in a chicken costume, playing his electric guitar on the street corner with grey skies and 35 degrees. My SP was giving him a friendly smile and a wave, which he returned. Man, I am so glad to not have that job!

Two young men were arrested Monday morning after their vehicle broke through the ice on Lake St. Croix in Douglas County, Wis.
Ryan VanPuymbrouck, 20, and Tyler Hale, 24, initially stated they were out on the ice just driving around when their car broke through -- but subsequent investigation and questioning resulted in the two confessing they had broken into several ice shacks with the intent to steal items.
Emergency responders were called to the southern end of the lake after an ice fisherman, arriving at his ice shack, was flagged down by one of the guys in the sinking vehicle asking for help.
After safely escaping the submerged vehicle, the two admitted to stealing a TV, an ice auger, and liquor, among many other items.
“Judging from the tire tracks in the area, it appears as if they became lost or disoriented as to their location and ended up in the river flowing out the south end of the lake where they broke through the thin ice,” Douglas County Sheriff's Office said. “The vehicle, a 2014 Ford Focus owned by Hale's girlfriend, was found submerged in about 6 feet of water. The vehicle was not insured.”
Both men are facing several counts of burglary. The incident and related incidents remain under investigation.

Simple pleasures: filtered water coming out of our now-fixed fridge again. A gas fireplace that turns on with the flick of a switch, looks romantic, and we don't have to clean it. Watching Football with Mr.Sexus. Or him watching it with me tonight anyway, as my Buckeyes play.
