Some people just lack character and the interest to put their best foot forward into the work they do.

I'm a reasonably well known photographer/producer within a specific genre. All of the performances are extemporaneous and in public for live audiences. Many of the women I photograph would not make the cut for contemporary porn appearance standards yet all are vastly sexier than any porn pro I've seen because they're having fun and showing real emotions. When I look at my favorite shots, they're all the ones with the most emotion on display.

Almost all so-called amateur or first time casting sites are pros and totally lack emotion or interest from me.

We watch porn together regularly and enjoy the websites that put out porn with plot and higher picture/audio quality. So much closer to regular movies/Network shows quality. Maitland Ward who was mainstream in Boy Meets world in the 90's made the change to adult and stars in a lot of featurettes on Deeper, Milfy etc. She has won like 4 AVNs best actress in a row for either overall actress or in a featurette. At the Deeper stable of content(includes Milfy, Vixen, blacked and others_ Kayden Kross's productions, a performer but primarily director now, we like a lot. Also a European studio Dorcel does the same style with a European flare. We gravitate to plots that are similar to our interests or ones we can identify with, ie as to our own sexual interests/turn ons. So many of these are multi parts with plot intrigue and ties to the other scenes.

RE: Professional looking porn vs. amateur stuff, I think it’s no surprise that most of the porn on the internet right now is “amateur” and not professional porn from actual studios. When it comes down to it, people can tell when the performers are really into it, and the professional porn can come off as overproduced.

TwentyYearItch - Yeah, I can see that working at a small private party where everyone knows everyone else. Even though we know all of the people we invite to ours, we do allow singles to bring a date that we don't always know. Our Halloween party was around 60 people and too many to watch over and some of our friends do not know all of our other friends.

If we ever get around to having a smaller party with 20 or less, perhaps it's something I'd consider, but would need to make it known that people need permission and this is only something done at smaller parties, or perhaps even just hand pick some friends for a small party like that.

@mayhem we do it at our parties. Those that want to be recorded are, and those that don’t aren’t. I am experienced at editing the videos to crop out faces. We don’t go to other people’s parties and record.

While I like the idea of videoing the Mrs having fun, phones/cameras are not allowed at the parties we attend for fairly obvious reasons. While some people may not care if they showed up on Pornhub, it could lead to some bad consequences for some.

At an open invitation party, it could also enable people to attend just for the purpose of taking pictures/video of others for profit. While we don't have any huge need for discretion, I still wouldn't want others taking pictures or video of us at a party. We'd not attend an open invitation party where cameras/phones are allowed.

The only porn my husband and I watch is our home movies we have made of ourselves, with couples, 3somes, and at parties. We have a lot. When I am with a lover, I get completely involved and don’t pay attention to what’s going on around me. At our parties I have sometimes been able to watch while resting or being a hostess.
