Got mine 18 months ago. I wouldn’t do it again unless it was the absolute last thing that would work. I found out after the fact that more often than not you will not be the same size you were before. The reason for this goes back to the adage: Some are growers and some are show’ers, this size you will be able to attain is based on your Flaccid size when you grip the glands between thumb & forefinger pulling it to it’s natural extension, no real force applied. That’s the max an implant will give in length. The girth is limited by the diameter of penile channels the inflation tubes are to be placed. So you cannot "over-inflate" because it is fluid and not air like I was thinking, and there is only so much fluid in the container. I'm guessing that when the valve is closed, it makes it a one-way valve to pump the fluid in, then when opened, it allows it to return to the container.
Hopefully I'll not need one of these things any time soon, or ever, but it's always nice to know there are options if it came to that.
Can not be over inflated, the cylinders only are one size which is fitted properly during surgery. There is a deflate valve in the device it sits in your scrotum. You pump it up tight, or ho we've much you want. Deflate when you are finished. For a few months after surgery when you inflate fully it can hurt until the tissue is stretched out correctly. It will not over inflate, blow up, or anything... Sometimes they can "auto inflate." You need to give the device one or two bumps after deflating to reset the valve, very simple to do. Just curious, but does it have a high pressure relief valve? Was wondering if these things could somehow be over-inflated. Also, are these things completely enclosed or is there some vent to the outside to draw air into the pump then release it back into the open when you deflate it? I had my original one done in 2018 AMS 700 by Boston Scientific. Mine blew out after three years it deteriorated. The doctor took it our and said it was very bad. A good friend of our had his done before that and same brand and it is going strong. I now have a redo with the Coloplast titan working great, better width and the length is great. It pumps up hard and lasts till I deflate it. No one ever knows I have an implant unless I tell them. I had Proton beam radiation (49 treatments) 11 years ago. Had ED which brought on the Trimix and pills. I did and do have some leakage after and before urinating.
