Payed or free? Does it actually make a differences.

All of this is less of an issue anymore because it doesn't appear that there is any way to communicate with a free member.

I would say paid with a decent profile and a few pics, if your into this lifestyle then commit to it all the way..

We don't pay attention to paid or free. What matters is a well-written profile with pictures.

Though we too have made some great friends online here, we have made an order of magnitude more friends from attending LS parties that we found on here. That has been the real value in it for us. If that part of SLS was free and the only option was paying monthly/yearly, we may not be paid members.

The short story is it is easily 3x as much work/hassle to meet people online as at a LS party. We still do it, but it definitely yields less fruit.

Lifetime membership is what $150? If you are doing monthly, I am pretty sure after a year you would be close to that amount. Besides if anything else, for my lifetime membership ii have made some great friends over the year.

Mayhem as a former Exit 58, recently moved to Exit 83. I will tell you that Wxit 91 is nothing like you probably remember it as that whole interchange was redone.
My dream was to always be off of Exit 69, but that area is just nothing more than lots of trees.

Being that unicorns are one of the most sought after commodities on any site I can only imagine how much email you get. You sound like just as much fun outside the bedroom as in. Being that I have always LOVED anything with a motor that moves, the dirt bike/ATV/Jet ski thing would likely be what I'd try to set up if looking to meet you as it's common ground and indicates that someone actually read your profile. Plus, it's just plain fun and people in general want to be around others that like to have fun.

That last part about "reading the profile" is, at least to us, more important than if someone is paid or not. Probably 99+% of the guys that reach out to us do not read our profile whether they're paid or not. We do not always see a correlation between paid or free SMs that do that because there are so few that do it's not a statistically significant number ;-)

Though we are paid members, we only did so because SLS offers a lifetime membership. Since we planned to be here for a while, the thought of yet another long-term bill would have out-weighed the value (to us) before they implemented the free member restrictions. I'm not sure what restrictions they have now but the point is, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. We were no more or less committed to the LS as paying versus free members, though I can certainly understand how it could appear that way.

PS - I spent 5.5 years in and met the Mrs in Jersey and we still have friends there. I lived off of exit 91 off the GSP (Bricktown) to play off an old comic Jersey joke ;-)

I delete all free account messages and all messages from folks without clear photos of both players.

A paid account and decent photos demonstrates a commitment and serious desire to live the lifestyle.

As an aside, I've received some wonderful messages from respectful, men. I've received double that number of poorly written, rude, foul, adolescent, rambling, and complete BS.

Not sure, if this question is relevant now; however, I had a free account for a long time. As a single female, there were no issues. That said, I actually will not meet anyone who is free or without certs for an extra layer of protection.

Makes no difference. We were free members for a long time and when our sub is up will probably go back. We do not use these types of sites to meet people directly, we tend to use them to find out about parties and attend them. After that, a lot of stuff is word of mouth and that works for us. Where we live has a very small swinger population so once you know two or three, you can meet them all :)

Doesn't matter to me. It's how they present themselves and handle themselves when chatting or meeting.

I don't feel or act any different as a lifetime member, and we have never been so overburdened with emails and such from them that it was not worth at least seeing if a free member was like us when we started. I know at one point the free members were severely restricted and not sure if that's the case now, but if so then it may matter.

Our stance on free members has at least been the case in NH. Currently in Pa temporarily and it's a bit of a different LS scene here, but still manageable without blocking free members. Mostly there are more single males it seems here in Pa that can't be bothered to read a profile before reaching out, but many (if not all) of those are paid so it's a different issue/topic.

Ya I know. CL was great for meeting other couples. I would post and get between five and twenty responses. Out of that a couple of them would want to meet and play. They where for real. CL was not the bottom of the barrel, we have meet couples that where very rich to lower middle class. All where nice people, well groomed and just like us they loved sex.

We have never met any of those bottom of the barrel types.

SLS the couples we have met had pics that where at least ten to twenty years and many pounds out of date. The people on CL where much more honest. But we are back posting in hot date with so far no response. We shall see
