Weed is Viagra for me but it has a tipping point for my orgasm. If I smoke a "normal" amount and have sex, I can totally control my orgasm. If i smoke a little bit too much, I'll never cum which can be a lot of fun at parties lol
For a guy, the absolute best is that point just before orgasm. Being an analytical type, I thought it would be best if I could reach and hold that plateau. I've been doing it most of my adult life, even before I realized it was called edging.
As a result, I think this contributed to how long it can take me to cum. Add a condom, a couple drinks, shake well and it can take as many as 3 or 4 rounds before I full on cum. Along the way I have what I dubbed micro-orgasms. It feels as if I had an orgasm including aftershocks, but there is little to no ejaculate. There is also generally no down time either.
I rarely have this delayed ejaculation problem with the Mrs and she loves the fact that she can get me to cum like no other woman that I play with can. I usually have no problem getting and staying hard and have enough endurance that, if it is feeling good for both of us, I can just keep going for up to about an hour or so before needing a break.
I don't find it frustrating that this happens. I have a penile implant and it is hard for me to ejaculate. I am fine with that as long as I can get hard and have sex. Delayed ejaculation is frustrating for me, but better than when I was young and went pop most of the time and could not control it.

I wish. I have always cum in 1 to 2 minutes. Maybe if I've had an adult beverage or 2 it might last 3 minutes. At 66 years old my wife is thrilled that I still get hard and have an orgasm (as do I). When playing I think having a little more time would be great!!!
14fun - I think you can experience this just from getting older. From other posts here, a reducton in your testosterone levels can effect your libido, and likely cause/contribute to this.
I am on no prescription meds and it can take me quite a while to full on cum. Meds can definitely throw a monkey wrench into things though. Sounds like something you want to run by your doc.
Erection and delayed ejaculation issues are common with SSRIs, so this isn't surprising to hear. You should definitely stay on your medication but talk to your psychiatrist about it to see if there are alternatives with less impactful side effects.
One thing to possibly keep in mind is that the more you stress about ejaculating, the less likely it probably is that you'll get there on the timeline you want. You're basically stepping out of the moment and "baseball"-ing yourself. I know it's easy for someone not having your experience to say but enjoy what you're doing. Maybe you get there, maybe you don't?
