go to the source,stay away from the porn stores and online crap from websites where you dont know the owner personally.
you would be AMAZED at the cottage industry inside of the kink world.
They survive on reputation for quality and custom work for many of your kinky requirements,not just rope.
At most SANCTIONED kink events,they will have a reputible vender there,or they can point you in a far better LOCAL direction.
You can see the wares in action,you have more selection,and you can ask for custom colors,sometimes you can even watch them make it.
Im a traditionalist and favor hemp rope for suspension.Jute works good as well,and is cheaper.
Both need to be conditioned extremly well before using,and then again really well after using.
if im rigging,tie downs,or just for artish type stuff,anything you want is ok!!
