We have hosted a number of massage gatherings. We have a massage table and oils, although massage can be done without oils in the right situations. The room should be warm, but if it's too warm sweat will make a non-oil massage difficult.

It's amazing to have a group massage each person, and each person have a turn on the table. When you have four, six, eight hands or more it becomes impossible to concentrate on one person's touch and easy to slip into bliss. We have opened our massage gatherings to those who want only massage as well as those who enjoy taking massage erotic. Rather than silk, I have used cornstarch.

Provides the silly feel, but not constrained by the size of the silk.

The touch is also completely different. A very light, almost not touching the skin.

If done correctly the touch overwhelms the senses.

Old dog, new dog... It's always a wise idea to be well-scrubbed before blanket diving. Always better if there's someone else there to do the scrubbing too.

Yes, I call them downstairs massage (takes one to two hours, fixes stuff, and makes you feel good) and upstairs massage (lasts as long as you do, makes you feel good, doesn't fix much of anything at all). A surprising number of people, even if their backs hurt, pick the upstairs massage. It might be the coconut oil.

I haven't used silk, but to answer your previous question, yes to coconut oil. Sometimes, I like to blend it with almond oil.

An oil free way is to use silk. It has two functions. One is to drag the silk from head to toe back and forth to begin the process. Two is to massage through it. Three is to use after massage or vigorous sex to cool and comfort your partner during the afterglow stage. Does anyone else use silk as a massage tool?

I don't use oils at all, except for erotic/genital massage. Oils have too much slip, not enough grip (sounds like but is not a double entendre!) for full body massages. For those, I use Biotone Dual Purpose cream. Coconut oil is great for erotic massage though, because it doesn't get tacky and isn't readily absorbed.

How many use coconut oil? It's a super-food; which makes it eatable, and good for the skin.

I have a pure grapeseed oil from Nature's Oil and a blend with sunflower and sesame from Bulk Apothecary. Both are not too greasy and work really well slightly warm. I have been using the massage warehouse website for supplies and have been pretty happy with the quality.

What oils do you use?

Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in on the subject of massage. I really got into it about 6yrs ago for therapeutic reasons and quickly realized even that touch was sensual and relaxing. I have no formal training but do imitate a lot of what a trained masseuse would do as well as being pretty intuitive. Now, I enjoy giving massages even more than receiving. I even bought my own table and nice oils to use. I've had a few experiences with couples coming over for the wife to get a sensual massage but would love to do it more regularly. As a single straight male in the lifestyle it is a great way for me to meet guy friendly couples with no pressure. If anyone is forming a massage group in my area I'd love to be included.
