I agree that it is good for some and not so much for others. In my experiences with 3somes, I find that when the woman initiates the action it usually works well.

IMHO, the best position is usually one man on the bottom the woman on top of him, facing each other, and the man inside her. The second man lubes up (necessary) and enters her doggy style.
