We have seen children at Paradise Lakes during the day. Children must be supervised and are not allowed in the hot tub or conversation pool. Also, I think they have to be out of the clubhouse and pool area by 5PM. It's rare but it happens.

The hotel has both renovated and non-renovated rooms. Both are fine although the renovated rooms are nicer. Neither are scary! And there is 100%, without question, no playrooms at Caliente. The only playrooms are your hotel rooms :)

We are members. We did it through the process you described with the free nights. No, not much pressure. As far as what the resort is like? It's incredible. There are no playrooms. Otherwise, it is top notch and we love it.
