I thought it was only me and it happens on a Saturday of all days. ??????? Can someone with the sit at least give an explanation as to why this is happening?

I actually preferred seeing a red number alerting me of how many messages I have rather than nothing. Because it looks like I have no new messages so I naturally wouldn’t check it.
