WTF?

I did delete it. What I meant was that there is a mechanism in place and if enough members rate the story badly, it will be auto-removed.

Note that these are stories, most likely fictional. We do not want that content on the site and we remove it when we see it or hear about it, but it isn't illegal.

"it was on its way out"

so the extra 10 seconds to delete it right then and there wasn't worth it. just ignore it and it will go away. gee zus.

I'm not interested enough to find out for sure, but I'm guessing sex stories aren't available to app users, since that would violate TOS for Apple, etc., even though it doesn't seem to violate the TOS of SLS even if the content features children. I think I'm offended that the only remedy is enough users reading it and marking it down or complaining in public. And even that doesn't always work, since I protested this previously and only the stories that explicitly listed someone's age were taken down, while others with a clearly underaged but unenumerated protagonist were not.

Considering that FOSTA was the big excuse for clusterfudgegoatpacking the site a couple of years ago, I'd think that some care would be taken to avoid having those assholes posting pedo stories.

Ruthlessly nuking their profiles from orbit for posting underage shit would be a good start.

If the rating system is the only oversight it may be better to just avoid the Stories section these days.

Some of those stories I had already removed. I just removed the others that were still listed. Any story with a rating under 3.0 will eventually be automatically removed. One of those you reported already had a rating of 2.9, so it was on its way out.

There are four more stories with minors.

The Neighbors Next Door-three stories
Little League Football

People know they are not supposed to post this shit.

Why are they still able to post?

I'm not so worried about members being offended.

There is obviously a market for that content.

But it does seem to me that the site could be liable for having kiddie porn, which I imagine is a violation FOSTA or SISTA or some such acronym designed to protect us...

So you're okay with those kind of stories being on the site until they're reported by members?

Seems risky. What if nobody reported it?

Wayne... please refer to the original post.

The lack of oversight is how you wound up with underage sex stories on your site.

"No one approves stories. They are submitted and go live immediately."

Therein lies the problem.

Gainesville, FL, Us

No one approves stories. They are submitted and go live immediately. Other members can then rate the story. Eventually, if the stories rating drops below a certain threshold, it will be automatically removed.

I just checked the new stories and removed several. If you still see any, please send me the title of the story.

What's the deal with people approving stories with underage participants?

There are two right now where they are talking about having sex with 10-13 year olds.

I flagged them, but they still made it through...
