who views your profile

Our perception is that if someone blocks you, then to you it appears that they have blocked your profile type (single male, single female or couple).

Not that we have run across it yet (other than trying to view a profile we blocked to check it out) but the individual block message seems to be different than if they blocked a "group". It seems the way the system works you can opt to block a group such as single males (example only) and that entire group gets the message such as you describe and we have seen. Then there is the "confusing" side to things. If under your preferences you choose the "no interest but profile still visible" you have unknowingly blocked that entire group as if you choose to block them. I'm not 100% sold all "blocked" messages are intended blocks when it comes to certain groups being blocked. It could be that the profile you are trying to view may not even know they are blocking a certain group from seeing their profile.

ok so they have blocked all couples and maybe changed there preferences thanks for the help

we were just wondering when you try to view a profile and it comes back that the couple is not viewable to other couples does that mean that they arent allowing any other couples to view them or are they just blocking you from looking at there profile
