Great suggestion! In my opinion anything to help focus the results down is a worthwhile addition.

Agreed, and well put. I'm really not looking for (or actually desiring) any new features until the current website is functioning properly. However, I do think I have a valid point and it really appears that people are listening to us, even if it isn't the people we are trying to engage with.

This is like asking for Bluetooth to be added to an Etch-A-Sketch.

I would love to give profiles the ability to filter out what they consider to be deal-breakers. IOW, those folks that are only interested in certain features of a person can select what they don't want to see. This is the way it would work:

1) if they have no interest in women or women over a certain height or weight, We don't see them and they don't see us;
2) if they have no interest in people over or under a certain age, we don't see them and they don't see us;
3) if they have no interest in people that drink, we don't see them and they don't see us;

Mind you, this would be a global decision affecting every page.

So, what would this do? As for my partner and myself, we would allow other people to make the decision that we just aren't for them, thus we would be looking through a database of people that won't dismiss us out of hand. After all, aren't all of us looking for people that would be interested in us more than looking through a bunch of folks that fit our one-sided criteria?

None of us are looking for people that would not be interested in us and we have no way to determine that, save wading through a lot of profiles, given the present search engine.

That's our wish.
