Agree apple. How is it ok not to have a state room for locals to connect but it is ok for people in a taboo room to talk about incest , bestiality . Their step daughters and everything else under the sun but god forbid we try and chat with locals to actually connect .
I want regional or state rooms created. SLS owes us this feature since we no longer have any other option.
Probably just one more reason to convert to Free versus Paid. We pay for the diversity of thought this site USED to have. I mean, have you been in the Lobby lately? I can talk about my neighbor mowing his lawn without having to pay the annual cost of SLS.
REgion specific(by state) would be a welcome addition
I wonder if a bit more effort on the part of SLS management to monitor the user-created rooms would not have also solved the problem. Like the ole saying down south, seems that maybe we threw the baby out with the bath water!!!!!!
Apparently the management of SLS did not consider that the members and subscribers were unworthy of a little bit of effort by them to make a general announcement of this change.
I understand them taking the action that they did, in view of the circumstances. I totally do not understand their lack of any general announcement.
Its getting to the point that you can't do anything anymore and sites like this won't take a stand. Unreal ! Going to tell me us creating a room that pertains to our area like Pa Chat is more dangerous than a TABOO room the site lists as a permanent room ? . Give me a break ! Getting to the point everything that has kept us here for 15 yrs is gone and not sure what the point is anymore !

I've been wondering the same thing myself. One of my favorite things about chat is watching some of the more ridiculous room names pop up. Sometimes, that's half the fun! I'd be sad to see that feature go permanently.
