Perhaps, but I have never had a group member take the time to personally remove themselves from the member site or count. Most everyone (99%) just let it ride or quit SLS. Neither of these options effect our member count.
<p>It can take a while for those type of totals to update on the site. I was just talking about this type of thing happening in the "Forum posts being marked as read/unread" thread.</p>
<p>You also have very large groups, so it is possible that as new members join, some old members may have left. </p>
Checking to see why when our group site gets members to join it does not always add to our group total. Some days we get 0 new members even though they are showing from their side as becoming members. Then a few days later we will get a dozen or more new members. Any idea as to what is going on?
