Hot dates

Another thing about hot dates.

Right now if you look at hot dates for my area. Literally every date is someone saying they are going to IPG. It's like this every weekend. Dozens of people with the same hot date, "We're" going to IPG!". In the summer it's "We're going to Gunnison!". Don't IPG, Gunnison, etc have their own pages? Wouldn't it make more sense for people attending those things to post their hot dates on the page for that event, so they can connect with each other there? How is anyone supposed to weed through 50 IPG dates to find the maybe one or two that fit their criteria?

@Wayne

It doesn't make any sense to block an account and then continue to see them in hit dates and elsewhere around the site.

Wayne, you like to brag a lot about how the new features are similar to Facebook. Well when you block someone on Facebook, they do not exist anymore to your account. You can’t see which groups they belong to. You can see any posts of theirs, even if you both belong to the same group. You need to fix this security issue.

So you do understand that the thread has absolutely zero to do with SLS keeping folks from attending events, excellent!

Might want to read all 6 posts, Wayne, before you comment.

How is SLS supposed to keep someone from showing up at a party?

"You block someone that is a creep or stalker and they can show up at a party where you might be."

I brought this very issue up years ago.

Well thanks you two for replying.
I wish sls scared half as much about it's users as it does about money.

Well that sucks. You block someone that is a creep or stalker and they can show up at a party where you might be. That needs fixing ASAP!

On your second question, it’s because they do not take blocks, security and safety seriously here at all. Even worse, someone you blocked, can see your hot dates, they can see groups and even parties that you are signed up for. It has been brought to their attention repeatedly and always false on deaf ears.

 1. Why can't we set age ranges when searching hot dates
 1. Why do we see hot dates from accounts we have blocked
