***Feature Request for Messages

YFW it's 2019 and a messenger inserts a linewrap when you press 'Enter.' instead of sending your message. :|

I personally think the new messaging sucks. You had a messaging system that worked fine where the message could be as long as needed. We go to a house party monthly where the host posts who's coming and their SLS names, as well as rules, times, address etc. Now the message is broken up into 11 to 13 small messages with words cut in half. It's like, really we got 13 messages. Nope, just one message cut up to the point it's almost incomprehensible. Who ever at SLS thought this system was better needs to rethink it.

Mentioned in another thread - a counter so you know how many characters are left before reaching maximum message size would be helpful.

It's so much easier to read a long message that has been thoughtfully broken into smaller chunks by the sender than a long message broken in the middle of a word by the website limitations.

Open their profile and click message. There are probably other ways, but this one actually works.

How do you start a new message? I've tried typing in the users name in the message search screen but no luck.

The message system should also tell you when and if your message has been read/opened by the recipient. Otherwise, you don't know if they just missed it or have actually read it. In truth, that was one thing I hated about the mail system was that people could read the mail without opening it. There needs to be a "message opened" indicator somewhere.

OK, The new Messages to replace mail is not the worst thing in the world. but at a minimum it needs a few things to make it useful for swingers, otherwise you still lose the stickiness of the site and forces people off onto other tools like texting KIK and Facebook.

1) you have a picture attachment button but it is limited to approved pics on your profile. It is a messaging app, you need to be able to share pics more than what is approved on your profile This is 2019.
2) Ability to mark a message unread, or ability to organize messages from people. This is a couples site. Once one half of the couple reads a message, it will not be forgotten about. The old ability to read a message without opening it for that purpose is now gone.

I'm sure there are more but this is the first that pops off the top of my head
