Change Group type from Private to Public?

Once created you cannot change your groups description yourself. You'll need to open a ticket with support and let them know what you want it changed to.

I would assume it can not be changed from private to public if you have any members. The joined a group thinking it was private. There should be an option to change from public to private though. I am having trouble simply updating my private groups description even.

Sandy, thanks for the info. However, I was not talking about pictures or galleries. I was talking about SLS Groups.

Is there a way to do this, or would I have to create a public group and abandon the private one?
