Safari discontinued Flash. For now, you will need to use Google Chrome. We are working on a new chat-room that does not require Flash.

Adobe flash player
MacBook Pro 15" Retina (late 2013)
Mac OS Catalina
Safari Version 14.0 (15610.1.29.1.9, 15610)
Shortly after I updated the OS, I was unabel to access the SLS chatroom. Adobe Flash Player stopped showing up in the list of Safari Plugins.
Whenever I try to update Flash, I'm sent to the "end of life" page.
On top of this, the "About this Mac" info is not showing up.
How can I access the chatroom, now?
They are getting rid of it on all platforms.
I am sure that some places that don't know what they are doing will hold on to it
Adobe flash player is easily hacked. They are getting rid of it on all platforms.

You can likely re-enable flash.
Contact sls support so they are aware...
But I think you can find a video telling you how to turn it back on in your browser
I am running Windows 10 if that is relevant.
No there is not... Your browser already has the new technology and has had it for at least 5 years.
It is the website that is obsolete.
Is there an alternative that I should install to replace Adobe?? Thanks
One can re-enable flash player... I won't even try to tell you how because it will be different for different browsers... I suggest searching for an instructional video in the usual places. I would post a link but that would be against the rules.
However, it is insecure and obsolete, has a limited future.
A Google search shows: Adobe Flash was once a massively popular internet phenomenon, but these days it's fallen out of favour and shunned by most web browsers. . ... That's right, Flash will no longer be supported from 2020.
When attempting to enter the Chat area, I am now getting a message that reads "Adobe Flash Player is blocked", and no solution is suggested. Is this a problem with SLS or with my computer?? If my computer, what is the solution?? Thanks
