intriguedcouplelooking that is a thought , yes! It can be viewed two ways: recent certs might actually prove they DON'T carry disease. As a single woman, certs are imperative. I realize couples might view them differently.
Certifications. How important are they?
I had to check our profile, because I forgot how many, if any, certs we have. We have 3 on this site, many more on some of the other sites. We generally don’t care about certs. We don’t request them, and we don’t give them unless asked. A cert from 10 years ago is as meaningful as a photo from 10 years ago. Someone’s “awesome couple” may be total jerks in our view.
We put much more value in rapport and chemistry.
Certs are useful, but they're just one of many tools in the toolbox. And the usefulness varies depending on a whole slew of other factors.
One thing I will say is that they're probably most useful for us single guys when we get certs. For couples and single ladies, it's likely to be less important.
Certs are basically meaningless to us, unless we know and respect the ones who wrote them. Other than that, it's just reading how these strangers like those strangers.
We have met and played with people who have zero. They, like R&K stated, just choose not to advertise.
Either way you have to communicate well and trust your gut feelings.
