"Hunter isn't in a good position, he's been charged with nine counts of failing to file and pay taxes, tax evasion, and filing false tax returns. He is accused of failing to pay at least $1.4 million in federal taxes from 2016 through 2019. I wonder how much money went to his daddy?"
I think it's pretty clear more money went TO Hunter than FROM Hunter. Hookers and blow aren't cheap.
But yes, I think some prison time is in the cards for Hunter, unless he can plea out. The IRS knows that make more money off of someone making back payments plus interest than someone sitting in prison.
At any time Joe Biden could, without restriction, pardon his son for all of these indictments. It's within his power as President. Hell, he could add Hunter to his cabinet and grant him executive privilege.
He could intervene to order DOJ to back off. He could denounce the Special Counsel and his family and spew political invective. He could call it a "witch hunt" and "election interference." He could go on MSNBC and rant about how poorly he and his family are being treated.
He has done none of those things.
