It should be apparent to everyone, regardless of party affiliation, that Trump will construct truth as he sees it and do anything and everything to realize his perspective. He is perfectly accepting of "alternative facts", voter suppression, lying about anything and everything, and cannot conceive of "losing". Every action he is taking, every word he is speaking, is intended to perpetuate his power, the Constitution be damned.

What's shocking is not that Trump is taking this position.

What's shocking is the fact that the rest of the elected GOP is remaining silent. They all took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Apparently they have all determined to become invertebrate flunkeys or, worse, sycophants instead of honoring that oath:
