Roe vs Wade

DB...Abortion is not natural child birth...The laws against Abortion across the country have no exceptions..I contend inducing labor is taking the child in an unnatural way same as a c-section....remember all thses people saying no exception for the mothers safety

RO

So does natural childbirth.

@2...they both end pregnancy....

Montpelier, OH, Us

Maybe it was alcohol logic. Lol

Hey I'm not cutting anybody down for that. I'm guilty of posting some drunk oddball stuff myself on occasion.

San Luis Obispo, CA, Us

Yeah... I was just guessing at the logic of comparing those procedures to abortion.

Phoenix, AZ, Us

"Maybe because you're "artificially" ending the pregnancy with a C-section or induced labor?"

Only in upside down world. Catholic hospitals, even those willing to let women have a near death experience in order to try to preserve a non-viable pregnancy, still induce labor and provide C-sections for full term babies.

San Luis Obispo, CA, Us

Yeah, I don't get it either.

Maybe because you're "artificially" ending the pregnancy with a C-section or induced labor?

Montpelier, OH, Us

.think it through please...

Well I thought it through. A few times...

I'm still somewhat lost. (OK not really somewhat but rather TOTALLY lost)

You're gonna need to get a bit more in depth.

Phoenix, AZ, Us

"I'm gonna admit to being a lost in your thinking."

Me too. There is nothing in even total abortion bans that would inevitably cause problems with birth via induction or C-section, not that I've ever seen and I've been paying fairly close attention.

Montpelier, OH, Us

Sn1987.... just let the swingers worry about it.

Montpelier, OH, Us

Ro- I'm gonna admit to being a lost in your thinking.

My initial hunch is that you're reaching REALLY far out for an argumentative comment.

@2...you don't understand what is being said...think it through please...without induced labor in your case, if you didn't have the c-section as you say....Would you have those grandchildren without those?

@DT, Regarding my faux outrage that the far right wants to take away your personal liberty to live your sexual life as you decide, since you're too lazy to do any checking on your own, here is what Justice Thomas wrote in his concurring opinion to the case that overturned Roe v Wade:

"In his concurring opinion, Thomas — an appointee of President George H.W. Bush — wrote that the justices “should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell” — referring to three cases having to do with Americans’ fundamental privacy, due process and equal protection rights."

Those are the cases that encoded right to use contraception without government restriction, sodomy laws (ie, government can't tell you what to do in the bedroom), and gay marriage (government can't tell you who to marry), respectively.

So, seriously, can you say I have faux outrage when the senior justice on the far right actually WROTE THAT WE NEED TO RECONSIDER ALL THOSE RIGHTS in his opinion? Justice Alito also agrees with him. The others, the same ones that voted to overrule Roe v. Wade, have not said much about this. Considering they eviscerated Roe, who the f* knows what they're willing to do.

If you're not outraged, then I just don't understand you. How can you be on a swinger's site and think any of this is okay.

Montpelier, OH, Us

so no induced or c-section..both of those are abortions

I must be missing something there. I have grandkids born both ways. They're still alive and telling me what to do.

my point is..which states want no exceptions...so no induced or c-section..both of those are abortions

Montpelier, OH, Us

So what say you? Do right-wing swingers really want a federal abortion ban?

Nope. It's right where it belongs. Up to the states.

Are you ready for induced labor or C sections...guess what those are late term abortions...Kiss obgyn away

"The Republican party is definitely the one that wants to TAKE AWAY people's freedoms, especially if it has anything to do with what's in one's pants! I'm pretty sure somewhere down the line they will come after the swingers. That's why we have to speak up and shut them down NOW. "

One of the dumbest comments ever posted on these boards, your faux outrage is apparent!

“ I'm pretty sure somewhere down the line they will come after the swingers. That's why we have to speak up and shut them down NOW.”

No one will be coming after swingers.

There may be some laws put on the books that may make it more difficult. But they’re not going to stop it or make it illegal.

In actuality. There are probably dozens for archaic laws already on the books that forbid this type of behavior (I’m sure they don’t call it swinging).

They tried their Moral Majority bullshit back in the 80’s-90’s. Once their spokespeople and leadership were shown to be adulterous and “sinner” they didn’t have a leg to stand on.

Remember this. Jerry Falwell Jr was going to speak at the 2020 RNC. He decided he got more enjoyment staying home and watching.

Irondequoit, NY, Us

“ Do you agree 100% with the Dems ?”

Stop, wait. That is not the question.

It’s not if you agree 100% with the political part you align with. I hope no one would. But, from evidence here. We can see there are some that do.

What I am saying is how can you act surprised and be upset with Graham proposal at this point. For the last 49 years it is the single constant in the GOP. Now that polls are showing it’s bad business for the GOP. It’s a hornets nest?

News flash: It’s been a hornet’s nest for 49 years. The GOP done whacked that nest and made it fall. The hornets are not going back in.

Graham has just shown what the GOP’s ultimate end game is. He’s put out a rallying point. For other Republicans to hang their hat on.

The GOP owns this.

“I really don't know why Senator Graham wants to dive head first into a hornets nest.”

Did the guy pay attention to the court ruling ? Apparently not .

New Orleans, LA, Us

Reagan sold out the GOP to religious fanatics and this unholy marriage persists to this day.

Some of you say you disagree with Graham on this issue but it was your party that stacked the court with religious zealots that got us here.
Most of you were so busy celebrating "owning the libs" that you didn't stop to think that the same SCOTUS that reversed Roe v Wade is now coming after gay marriage and if that doesn't bother you, maybe you will take notice when they impose their morality on sex outside of marriage and start scouring swinger sites.
