The fact that the deceased reveled daily in divisiveness, homophobia, racism and sexism was bad mojo, too. He may not have written policy but you can't say he didn't influence politics and public opinion. So he did affect the daily lives of a lot of people.

I'm not celebrating his death but I wouldn't celebrate his life, either.

I just fail to understand how anyone has the energy to feel that strongly about the death of someone that a) they've never met, b) 98% of you never listened to, c) never made a policy, enacted a regulation or passed a law that impacted your day to day existence. They will go to the state legislatures and ask to install "demand meters" on each home. You will then have your rate set from your highest usage. Just like commercial accounts. My cousin in Delaware pays $14.00 per month for the electric line from the pole to his house. That is how it starts. There is "no free lunch". Look at the south today wind turbines frozen. Electric companies unprepared for it. Customers freezing to death. Now they have to rebuild the systems and increase the electric company need output and income to pay for it. THE ELECTRIC COMPANY HAS TO STAND BY READY TO DELIVER ENOUGH ELECTRIC "ON DEMAND".

I'm sad and happy about Rush.

Rush had an incredible talent. I am envious of his ability to use his voice, his command of the english language, the power to get followers. I am just disappointed with how he used it. He could have done so much with that talent instead of manipulating gullible people into a frenzy to line his pockets.

It could be something as simple as their pitch is normally an ROI pitch. They could have looked at him and said, "Hmm. The ROI is 20 years, will he make it?"

Residential use is not commercial use. You don’t pay a demand at the same rate a commercial account does.

Solar system or not? You still have the demand charge. You’re trying to minimize what that charge is.
