I just did that. They were trying to go after him about NIAID having funded some rogue group that said they weren't doing gain of function research (but did do some), which is one of Rand Paul's and probably Qanon's conspiracy theories. Anyway, NIAID shut that group down when they found out about it.. it's yet another nothingburger from the far right that they're trying to whip you sheep into an outrage about... They're mostly asking about details from some random emails sent during the pandemic. Considering there was a pandemic going on, and he sent probably millions of email and was working 80 hour weeks, it's not surprising he doesn't recall every little detail about every email he's sent.

I had to go back to my email, and read them all carefully, before I could recall what had happened. And that was 1 year ago, and I'm not even 10% as busy as Fauci. So to me, it's not surprising he said he didn't recall. What would you say if you had a hostile AG trying to bait you, about a random email out of millions you've exchanged, from two years ago?
