The funny thing, you can never get the shirts or the skins to agree on when and to what dollar degree the National Debt is or is not a problem. If I take your statement at face value the shirts (Democrats) are incorrect that allowing Americans to keep more of their income through lower taxes is catastrophic for the financial health of the country. Conversely the skins (Republicans) must be incorrect that financing an additional 32-Trillion dollars over ten years for Government Financed Health Care is not that big of a deal. The funny thing? Both the cases cited by the shirts and the skins are social programs designed in principle to improve the lives of everyday Americans. Additionally if we, the American Public are to believe the shirts or the skins that increasing the National Debt is not a problem why don't we have the best infrastructure in the developed world and why the partisan food fight when we hit the debt limit? No doubt you can understand why us Independents and the Rating Agencies have a pessimistic view of the conflicting statements by the shirts and the skins.

This is not to be taken as lightly as it is written. The debt is not that big of an issue. Right now, the debt is just north of 20T. Of that 20T, I think right around half (+/- 10%) is not true debt. It is the right pocket lending it to the left pocket. There is a LOT of intergovernmental lending. This is what is kinda funny if you look at conservatives and explain this to them. And oh yeah, start counting down, because NutJob is going to explode.

SS has brought in more money than it has ever spent. Think about that for a minute. In other words, SS has taken in $1 and given out about 92 cents. So what does the government do with the 8 cents? It doesn't deposit it at Wells Fargo and it doesn't buy a mutual fund. It will buy treasury bonds as a mean to get that cash into the general fund. Then the general fund pays for the military. Yes . . . your SS payment is indirectly paying the military!

Now of the ~50% of the debt that is to foreign/public that is real debt :) So our debt is not as bad as it looks.

Now here is the funniest thing to point out to most conservatives. They are cheap and greedy bastards. They are constantly fighting to pay either very little or NOTHING for something. If you break the government down to what it is, it is a giant provider of services. Our taxes pay for services. Now ask yourself what do you get as a service from the government? Then look and see how much you paid and tell me if you think you got a helluva deal? :)

Here are just a few things we get. A military, clean air (unless conservatives want to kill it) and water. Plumbing and electrical. FDA, Post Office, NHTSA, Osha, roads, cops, education, the internet, nasa, judicial system, prisons, cops, etc.

CNN was in the tank for Obama. FOX is in the tank for Trump. The outrage over that only depends on which Political Party is in power. So my prediction is the Status Quo will dispatch with Trump sooner rather than later, the shirts will become the skins, the skins will become the shirts, the National Debt will continue to climb, the rich will remain rich and the poor will continue to struggle and you will all switch the subjects and priorities that are the new National Crises.

The country is like a bell curve. There is a massive amount of people that are within 1 deviation from the norm. However, like all bell curves there are some that are outliers. Fortunately, in this section, there seems to be just a few outliers. And . . . ironically . . . they are all on the right side. It is debatable if Sar is an outlier on the left.

How can one find peace and happiness when the crimnal goverment fucks you over all the time? Living in N California i have seen the Democrats burn peoples houses down, destroy their businesses for being a Republican. I was thinking of going to the Trump rally in San Jose but was afraid of what the Democrats where going to do. Obamacare has destroyed the health insurance companies that used to be our clients and Dodd Frank has devastated the life insurance industry that used to be our clients.
