The OP has (had - he has since deleted some) 11 surviving posts in his entire 22 year existence on SLS. During that time, at least 4 have been pretty much exactly the same thing.

The fact that someone who perhaps considers cow tipping to be a viable swingers date - being a 65 year old male with no pics and a frankly idiotically written profile complaining - after TWENTY TWO YEARS - about his frustrations- is simultaneously astonishing, sad, and ridiculous.

My two cents:

Mr. VA, you must have been bored to bump this topic up. ;-) Nonetheless, the topic is at hand. So, here I go.

I did not read the original poster's profile, nor care to. I do see his side of the argument. But, also see Molly's response from over a thousand days ago. My synopsis: A disgruntled single male upset at no return messages. He was shut down by a single woman here in the forum topic, by her explanation that his profile was shitty.

As a single male, sure, I too wish that people would respond one way or another. But, as a single male that is better than the original poster and not airing any dismay, I know that 'no response, is a response...' It is part of the game. I just continue to put my best foot forward and earn the respect of others. Eventually, there will be a connection, or, the entire population will be exhausted and no compatibility exists. I lean towards eventually there will be a connection.

We put the same effort into our replies as the sender does in their profile and note to us. That means half the time there is no reply.

But you do know. If people aren't responding, it's a very clear sign that they are not, in fact, interested.

You've been on here since 2003 but have neither certs nor a public photo. Plus your profile is full of peevishness and typos. The combination pretty much guarantees that you will excite little to no interest in those you contact, unless your messages are perfect.

So instead of complaining, write a better profile, get a cert or two, and understand that if you get a 10% response rate you're doing well.

Wish people would respond to mail one way or other. No one know if interested. Frustrating
