FF: I found out some time ago that I can be considered a Canadian.
Just another fucking Canadian fucking American women.
So far I've been too polite to fuck a Canadian.
"Pierre Trudeau met an 18-year old while on vacation. In spite of being the prime minister and 30 years older, he began banging her anyway and married her in secrecy. The Canadian public only found out afterward.
A few months later, the current prime minister was born. Years later, Mrs Trudeau began fucking Ted Kennedy (yes, that Ted Kennedy) and both Ronnie Wood and Mick Jagger."
Sounds like I should have said "those fucking Canadians" instead of "those damn Canadians".
VAB: I think that's true for our society, not just those up north. People in general are more distant, 25 years ago people began preferring a phone call to a meeting, then it became an email, now it's a text or IM. Instant gratification, 15 second attention span and move along to the next thing. I'm as guilty as anyone.
If you stay in the same area you grew up in, life goes on and gets busy. You have less time for friends, so the time you do have is usually spent with the closest long term friends because you don't have time for "outsiders". That can make people appear cold because they don't have time for their best long-term friends, nevermind new ones. That's my theory anyway.
I've found as time has gone on that I have little in common with the Canadians I grew up with. I have become a pretty outgoing person, which Canadians often consider to be obnoxious, even if it's in a very friendly way. I find the people I encounter when I go back to be polite, but "cold".
FF: No matter what they did in 1968 or how many rock stars Mrs Trudeau fucked, most Canadians are polite TO ME.
Oh and here's an amusing tidbit.

Meh, not quite. They tend to get really riled up over things like anti-globalization.
Google the 2010 G20 Toronto protests. Over 1,000 arrests and 97 injured police officers. Or the 2001 A20 protest in Quebec City.
The worst things happened in the few years before I was born, 1968-1971. There were a number of terrorist activities, primarily in Quebec, as a result of the FLQ's actions. Over a few years and almost 1,000 bombings, it eventually escalated to the point of the kidnapping and murder of Quebec's deputy premier (equivalent to a lieutenant governor) and the British trade minister held hostage for nearly 2 months. During this time the feds invoked the War Measures Act, which gave the military police powers, suspended most civil liberties and made Canada a police state for about 90 days. The government passed the law at 4 am and within hours the police and military had rounded up hundreds of people with no warrants, charges, or access to legal counsel. It eventually ended when practically everyone was arrested, gone into hiding, or granted passage to Cuba (where many of them remain today). The KGB had been I contact with the FLQ and it was only after the fall of the USSR that it was found that they had forged documents meant to portray the whole thing as a CIA false flag operation to drum up support for an invasion of Cuba.
Look up the October Crisis if it sounds interesting.
Pierre Trudeau's famous words, when asked by a reporter how far he'd be willing to go, were "Just watch me". Its worth watching on YouTube.
While usually boring, occasionally, canadian history is quite interesting.
Say what you will about Canadians, they are polite!
We have family in Canada so we go every year. We pass on the poutine, though.
FF- Canadian protesters almost never riot over social causes. Riots are reserved for Stanley Cup playoffs.
Well, you heard of it now.
SLS Forum: Informative and sometimes entertaining.
I lived in southern Ontario for 24 years, and eastern Ontario (where poutine is everywhere, even at McDonalds) for 5, I go back 1-2 times a year, and have traveled all over Quebec, and I have never heard of poutine pizza.
Not saying it doesn't exist, but it sure ain't widespread.
Several years ago, for a limited time, McDonald's Canada offered a maple bacon poutine. Supposedly it was a maple syrup kind of gravy over bacon over french fries.
Sometimes I think maple syrup is the Canadian version of Frank's Red Hot Sauce...
"I put that shit on everything."
Pizza Hut Canada offers it with poutine sauce, french fries, cheese curds and mozzarella. Sausage is an extra cost option...
I'd rather have pepperoni with extra grease on my pizza, thank you.
PoonTang pizza? Is that with or without the sausage?
Poutine pizza is also a thing with our northern neighbors.
Those damn Canadians...
FF: Hawaiian Pizza was invented in Canada.
The Canadian Pizza didn't go over so well- maple syrup pairs better with pancakes than pizza.
FF: while legal school segregation in the US ended in 1954, it continued in practice for a long time after.
However, it remained legal in Ontario until 1965, in Quebec until 1974, and Nova Scotia until 1983. In the far north, segregated schools between whites and inuit people didn't end until 1996.
I honestly didn't know about these things growing up there. We only learned and talked about the crappy bits of history in the US.
You get exactly what I paid for.
It's not even fun reading your posts once ;)
FF: If you try to make a post and get an error message asking if you want to return to the home page or go back to the previous page, and you opt for the previous page and attempt to post again, your post will get posted again. And again. And again. And again, depending on how many times you repeat the cycle.
It's not really fun to read your same post 'leventy-twelve times.
FF: at least one person who has posted a story in SLS Sex Stories is also an E-book author on Amazon
Ordinarily...
There should be an ordinance against leaving all that ordnance lying for 500 years.
