I completely agree on the high energy. Hedo has something for everyone. It's for people on all levels from just partying naked to full swap seperate rooms to orgies (depending on the week you go)
Even if you're low energy during the day and party (or not!) At night. Be picky on the week you choose. It can make your vacation so much better (or worse).
We have been saving and paying for college for our kids since 2002. Last real vacation was to Hedo in 2002. Back then there was lots of full swap play and hardly any single men. Lots to do at hedo beside sex, scuba diving twice a day which we love to do, snorkeling as well. Sailing and beach volleyball games.
I am sure everything has changed now but it was really fun.
Yes Hedo will have single guys. They are not going to attack your wife. We have been to desire, Pearl, Hedo and prefer Hedo. there is something for everybody at Hedo.
We have been to HEDO twice and going back in Feb, love the place, met one random single guy at breakfast, he was friendly and we did nothing with him. All his single guy stuff 'an issue that we have seen... the renovated rooms are great
"Better" depends on what you're looking for at the resorts.
In summary
Desire, if you prefer more low key, restful experience with better facilities overall.
Hedo, If you value a higher energy, playful experience with a warmer friendlier atmosphere.
Desire is way better than Hedo, in our opinion. We've been to both.
Yes, hedo will have single guys. If you're going after the 15th, chances aer, there will be few or already know the sigle male code of conduct. It really isn't as big of a deal as most people make it sound.
With the Hedo renovations, I'd highly suggest that place. It is so much nicer looking than my 1st visit. I'm going in December for my birthday, too!
Desire ( both Pearl and Riviera Maya) are couples only. Hedo will have single guys.
Need some info - my husband is turning 50 in December and want to go somewhere fabulous. We are looking at Desire Pearl or Hedo II. Which is the best? We love Temptation but want to try something new.
