Anyone else watching Mindhunter?

Me and my husband have really gotten into Mindhunter on Netflix lately.

Anyone else notice the scene in episode two of the second season where the BTK Killer’s wife makes him sleep on the couch and gives him a book on sexual deviancy?

Considering homosexuality was considered a psychiatric disorder back then, kind of makes me wonder if what was considered deviant back then as normal today.
