Hi OP: Apologies for being a little late to this thread. Try adding SLS into your internet explorer's list of trusted sites. You could also find a setting in Defender Firewall (accessible from the Windows Control Panel) that allows exceptions or create an inbound and outbound rule.

I dont use Windows Defender but most packages have a allow/disallow list where you could type in the SLS Url allowing it .... that should work.
Good Morning SLS Friends: So Windows security has decided that SLS is a bad site that I should not access, and the firewall won't let me access the site unless I turn it off. Any advice on how to fix this, but still have the firewall on? Thanks in advance!
