Let's Talk Type 2 Diabetes
To get people in America healthy again requires a diet of around 10% fats of any kind. Lots of veges and fruit and around 30% complex carbs.
Yet we have a media and government that makes huge money off of people being fat and unhealthy. As long as people blindly believe the TV instead of their doctors everyone will be fat and sick.
The only way to change this is for the meds that everyone take to stop working so people start dropping dead from heart attacks and strokes they way they did before the 90's. The the fear of death will get people to start eating healthy again.
Right now many people dont care how fat they are, as long as someone else pays for their meds that keep them alive.

I think Someonescoming is basically correct that the idea of a low fat diet that has been foisted upon. on us for years has been more damaging to the healthy of so many than anything else. Mostly because of poor education regarding fats in your diet.
We have morphed to a fat avoiding carb heavy diet with the result of a very unhealthy culture.
Carbs are not evil just as fats are not evil. The thing is all carbs like all fats are hot created equal.
Educating kids to differentiate between what carbs and fats to eat and which to avoid could easily reverse the current trend of unhealthy graduating classes

A few months ago i weighed 190 pounds (I’m 5’8”) and I needed to be on a drug load that people 400 pounds need to be on to control their type 2 diabetes. As an actual Type 2 diabetic I can assure you that sugar/carb isn’t the main reason you develop it. Yes develop not get. Unlike Type 1, Type 2 is more about Fat cutting off the cells ability to use insulin, so your body keeps producing more and more till it can’t make enough otbin some cases stops producing it. Now granted of you are eating lots of sugary foods and carb heavy food you probably aren’t exercising as wel and your weight will balloon. I always felt that belly fat was a good indicator of Tupe 2 risk. When my weight got out of control I developed it. I lost 40 pounds and it ‘went’ away. The moment I gained 15 pounds back, it was knocking on the door. It took me and additional 5 years to get it back under control. It will never go away, it will always be there waiting for me to drop my vigilance and over eat and not watch my weight. The last 6 months I have been changing my eating habits. I went from 192-195 down to 177 this morning. I still have anyone 7-10 pounds to go but my glucose numbers are amazing right now even on minimal drug intervention ( I was on insulin plus 2 other diabetic drugs) .
I will start a work out regimen in the next two weeks, the improvements will be huge. I feel good about myself, my confidence is back and o know o am getting healthy. It can all turn in an instant and I could be back. Stress could do it, an injury can do it. It will be easier especially at home, but it’s when you go out or at work when they bring in food where I have to walk away so I don’t go back to my old habits.
Everyone needs to stop thinking diabetes is all about too much sugar and carbs. It’s not. I can have both, I just have to do it in moderation.

Some read the Framingham study, a long term study on how diet and what you eat causes disease. Started in the 1940's with 7,500 healthy people and followed up for forty years with the results being published in the 1980s
Very specific details in exactly what is eaten and the resulting health issues that diet has caused over time.
Another study started around the same time was comparing the Japanese people in both Japan and those that came to America and adopted the American/Western diet and the differenced in health issues the different types of food caused when eaten over time.
It is from these studies the reference intervals came from that your doctor uses to know how healthy your blood pressure and all the labs test on your blood and urine. (The numbers like 120 over 70 BP is healthy and 140 over 90 is not. and all those numbers you see when you get the results back on a blood test)
Stop believing the lies on TV, its all done for political and monetary gain. So many people have gotten so rich off the scam diets on the TV. So many people have died and gotten so sick from those very same scam diets on TV
NO WRONG a high sugar diet once your have diabetes can kill you. Its the high fat diet that kills your pancreas with then can not process the sugar in your blood stream.
Sugar with a healthy pancreas burns as energy first being absorbed right from your stomach much the same way as alcohol.

Type 2 diabetes is caused by eating a high fat diet. Plain and simple. Stop eating a high fat diet and exercise lose your excess weight and your diabetes will go away. Stop eating so much meat and fired food. start eating fresh veges.

I would like to tell you all about my diabetes and the problems it has caused me and what I did. I was in the military for some time and while there I had BP that was extremely high. Also, at the same time, my blood sugar was rising. I was totally ignorant about what levels I was supposed to have and no one in the military or at the VA ever explained anything to me. What I noticed was my inability to hold an erection and forefeel my needs and those of my wife's. This went on for 32 years. I tried everything on the market, every pill, every gimmick to no avail. Finally I have a permanent family Physician who was trying to help me but all I got was pills, a lot of pills, from 'Big Pharma'. For 12 years I took this crap. Nothing changed much. Still no erections. Blood pressure that was 204/156 went down some but blood sugar kept going up. At 537 and climbing, he referred me to an Urologist. So now I'm a full blown diabetic! Ok, now I'm on Medformin, Glipizide, Losartan, Fenofibrate, Hydrochlorothiazide, and Saw Palmetto plus L-Lysine and of course, the Vicktosia shots. Lots of money spent and it's barely manageable. They 'treat' it but no cure, not healing! In disgust, I was telling a friend of mine about this and he told me to come into the house. Got something I want to show you. He handed me a book entitled 'Dead Doctors Don't Lie' by Drs. Joel D. Wallach and Ma Lan. He told me that these two Drs have been sued by every pharmaceutical company on the northern hemisphere because of this book but they have beat every law suit because they have proved in court that their ways work! He said the first part of the book is good reading and that the second part of the book is informative and educational but he told me to go to the rear of the book where diseases of man are listed in alphabetical order and do what it says. He told me that this book not only tells you WHAT to take but HOW much to take and that I could take it with what ever the Dr has prescribed until I see a difference and then start weaning myself off the pharmaceuticals. I did and in 36 days my blood sugar went from 537 to 205. In another 30 days it was down to 106. I have kept a record of my blood testing for 1.5 years and can prove what I say. Best of all, it may be a treatment but it's damn cheap compared to the prescriptions and with no side effects. Here is the kicker; this is all natural! It's all holistic herbs and vitamins. My friend told me one other thing I should always remember; never never buy your vitamins or herbs from a drug store, a pharmacy or the grocery store. He said you will never get the real deal, the real strength. Go to a store that deals in health herbs and vitamins. I myself, use the 'Vitamin Shoppe' because they ship their products at night so the sunshine never touches them to diminish their strength.
To increase the lost Testosterone, use a fine blender to spin up spinach leaves, apple, some water and broccoli into a liquid and drink before breakfast in the morning or right before bed (large smoothie drink) The Spinach leaves are a must but the broccoli can be substituted by Cauliflower or cabbage. The apple is just to sweeten it
The blood pressure in normal, the blood sugar is normal and my A1C level is at level 4-5 and not at 11 anymore.
As for the erections, I'm doing the injections. Just started. I have not gotten to where I want it to be but it's coming along. I have noticed that the thickness of the shaft has increased. I'm a T2 (Type 2) have been for 11 years and have had my ups and downs. If I get close to 200lbs my body starts going through some serious changes. My blood levels are hard to control and with that I usually change mentally.
Thanks to the cruise I got close to that mark and my body is now in that area. What I find that works is eatjnh leafy greens, lots of proteins and cardio. I know I have to implement some weight training but I don't know how. I was a former runner/cyclist so cardio is my go to. It's one of the easiest ways to lose weight. If I can get to 185-190 I stabilize. Weight training helps in that it makes the muscles more receptive to taking in and using insulin (which is the issue with T2. It's a struggle every day, but you have to take it one meal and one day at a time.

A vegan diet is terrible for you and worst for kids. Kids who are raised on a pure vegan diet are short. We humans evolved to eat mostly green leafy veges some roots and grains and very lean wild meat when we could get it.

I'm lucky to have been blessed with great genes and I've been lucky to live very well despite my indiscretions so I usually wonder why people have to be so scientific about food. BUT I'm glad they do... does help a lot. My experience has been to work off whatever I eat and will always do this. I work it off until I feel good. I also have a kid. She's a little younger than yours that and be a doctor soon. AWESOME feeling right! BUT we both agree that vaccinations are must! I won't argue about this until enough people stop believing in it that we have a HUGE problem.. again. :-)
