We got a couple custom made a Passional in Philly. To be honest to get a great fit on a corset it needs to be custom made. Bodies are so different and unique that it is hard to get an off the shelf corset that will do your body justice. We got 2 corsets and a latex dress all custom made there... Pricey... but they are fantastic high quality and look HOT!!!

Previously we got a couple from Ebay, Victoria's Secret and adult store.... cheaply made and didn't fit well. If you're serious about corsetry then get a good one custom made for you.

I had corsets custom made via Meschantes. They were AWESOME! and fit perfectly.

You can get special deals from them on ebay too.

When giving instruction to have your custom made, be sure to get the ones with a busk ( a busk is the closures from the front and the lacing is in the back).

This company made high quality and was able to withstand tight lacing.

For plus size lingerie - I like Dream Girl Direct from Amazon.

Hips and Curves is great, but sizing can be frustrating. I bought and sent back several items before finding some that fit. Their items are from several different manufacturers and the same size in different items might be too big or too small. Surprisingly, Castle Mega Store is where I finally found the corset in the pic. Found lots of lingerie, panties, stockings, garters, etc at Yandy.

Every now and then Lane Bryant has gorgeous and very well made corsetry and typically the bra, panties, thong, etc. will match. The sizing is true fit also. I've been buying from them for over 20 years and 98% of my closet is Lane Bryant. Oh, but for thigh high fishnets or stockings, LB has some, but the killer thigh highs come from Torrid and they're not fragile, either. Good luck on your search and let us all know what you got! :D

I am a BBW and I have actually had really good luck finding plus size corsets on Amazon . com Just make sure you follow the size chart. I had to order mine 2 sizes larger than what I normally wear.

Try Orchard Corset, i recently bought a corset from them and was very happy w/ the fit and quality. After taking my measurements I called the company and the woman on the phone was very helpful advising me on what type of corset and size to order. After ordering my corset I had it within a few days and it came w/ instructions on how to wear and care for it.

Agree with the other post, Hips&Curves is great. I do alot of Mrs Ready's lingerie shopping and being a bit of a cheap bastard, eBay offers alot of options. Only thing you have to watch there is if it is coming from China it takes about a month. Also you have to know that Chinese 2X and American 2X is waaay different. Pay attention to the size chart and don't get frustrated if you get the wrong size at first. Also if you buy from a US seller, they have an annoying habit of not distinguishing between Jrs 1X and Womens 1X. Can get annoying but ask a question, if they are a good seller they will answer in a timely manner.

Don't know if it will attach or not but the faux leather and matching skirt in the pic came from eBay for under $20 including shipping!

Didn't mean to just jump in on the discussion but being a BBW and trying to shop for any type of lingerie is always such a headache and I've found a few quality pieces and like to share where I've found them. I've recently ordered a peek a boo girdle from "Stockings and Romance" and am excited to show it to my husband! They specialize in vintage inspired lingerie and have some higher sizes. Crossing my fingers it looks as good as Im hoping! Also, try Torrid for regular clothing needs. They have higher plus sizes and are very trendy.

I've also had great service with corsetstory and have been very pleased with the quality. Go for steel boned for more control. They have an awesome buy one get one free section too and if you "like" them on fb they post corsets of the day at ridiculous prices. If you cant find your size at Corsetstory there are a few merchants on Etsy that can custom make a corset with your specific measurements. Pass up the Leg Avenue plastic boned corsets if you are plus sized or any size really. They give you a boxy shape rather than the hourglass shape. Im in search of plus size TALL nylons. Nothing worse than just over the knee "thigh" highs! Anyone have any suggestions there?
