99% of groups ya can't open, no permissions, or they have not had a note made for a year or years. Even asked to join and never a response. SLS should clean up and aske admin of group to put up or get out. Just saying.
Like BBW's myself but
We use our group almost exclusively to schedule, promote and organize events. It offers a convenient way to send targeted communication to hundreds of users and accept RSVPs.
We tried to get some sense of community going with the group forum but it never caught on.
Between Chat rooms, the Forums, and Groups, Groups seem to get the least amount of use. They seem like a good idea in theory, but I suspect the owners lose interest. Many seem to view Groups like FaceBook followers, meaning more is better. Unless a Group is tied to a regular active LS event, there is very little activity in most of them.
Are any of the groups used ? I am on several and there is never anyting going on .
