Social Learn and Play
NM-REAL SLaP is a monthly Kink Social, Learning, and sex-positive Play event for those that crave excitement, education, and exploration in our community. SLaP events will be held most months on the third Friday.
Stop letting reality slap you in the face! Its more fun to choose your own reality at SLaP.
Each month NM-REAL SLaP will have social time and space for social interaction, one to three classes, followed by a sex-positive play party. Hang out and socialize, be a voyeur, be an exhibitionist. One area will have low to moderate level volume house music so you can hear each other. Other areas will have quiet space to relax and talk. Check out each event to see which educational activities will be held. Our play time has both a larger pansexual play party spaces (beds, cabanas, pan videos, and dungeon area) and a male-identifying only space a room with beds and male videos. Other focused spaces can be created if there is sufficient demand let us know.
All our events strive for safe space for all through attendee required behavior that is respectful, ethical, and inclusive. Our space is for 21+ year olds, no alcohol or illegal drugs. Outdoor space is available for vaping and smoking.
We hope you come to the whole event to socialize; however, you can also just attend the education or play sessions. SLaP is brought to you by the partnership that produced Kinktoberfest 2025 and NM Leather & Kink Fair, including NM-REAL, Inc. a charitable non-profit, and Purgatory Dungeon. - 815-845 pm: Fantasy - BDSM Entertainment, Mardi Gras Theme
- 8 pm - 1 am: Sex-positive Kink/BDSM Play Party
Beyond the hardware, the class looks at why people choose chastity:
themes of control and surrender, focus and denial, role exploration, and long-term dynamics. Vid is co-owner of Limax Baccus, a small 2-person team based on Albuquerque that creates art and sex toys. Started in 2024 from scratch, they have popped up in and around Albuquerque for various markets. From public art to profane parts, there's always something for everyone.

If youre brand new to rope, we recommend starting with Rope Bondage 101 so you can fully savor everything this class has to offer. Bring your curiosity, your partner, and your desire to make the bedroom your playground.
TwiztedMagic & otherKitty, have had a tying partnership for a couple years, that has been absolutely magical! Their rope bondage approach has both Japanese and Western influences. They believe that a solid foundation of core principles and techniques is an essential key to learning. TwiztedMagic has put in thousands of hours in practice and application. otherKitty has about 2 years of Bottoming experience and has been learning to tie as well. They strive to maintain a learning and growth mindset as individuals and rope artists. Seeing a need in their community, they founded KnotScience_NM, an organization with the goal of creating change and furthering Rope Bondage education in New Mexico.
